We are about to hire a few social scientists. I’m really excited about this because it will help us scale something that it inherently difficult to scale. As such it’s a bit of an experiment, but after doing win/loss analysis, churn analysis, and stuck deal facilitation, and nothing else, for 8 years (!), I want to take what we’ve learned and apply it at scale. It won’t be easy, but I am confidentthatwe will do it, and what we end up with will be genuinelynovel.
To help us get there, we have been talking tosocial psychologists, anthropologists, and sociologists. Such fascinating people with so much depth of understanding. Our clients have already called us sales psychologists, buyer therapists, and even business anthropologists. And so it’s time to take this to the next level.
But as we do this, and before anyone applies, I want them to know what we are about. Here’s my first draft for the paragraph after we describe the basics of what we do as a company. I’d love to hear what you think!
