Alan Armstrong, Founder and Managing Director
Alan has been building and selling software and SaaS products for 15 years, for a short time as a developer, and for the last 10 years with individual, director- and VP-level roles in product management, product marketing, business development, and sales. In 2001 Alan co-founded the Toronto Product Management Association (www.tpma.ca), which is still thriving with over 200 members. He is a Certified Consultant to Pragmatic Marketing, and has three successful exits at Sitraka (Quest Software), Wily Technology (CA) and Fortiva (Proofpoint). Alan is a key contributor to the On Product Management blog.
Alan created Eigenworks in 2007 to provide fundamental product management services, to do the hands-on strategic work that is so often ignored by well-intentioned but overly-busy product people.
